In meeting frame of ECO Customs Service Heads Council some bilateral meetings were held
As we informed, on September 26-28 the 6th meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization Customs Service Heads Council was held in Baku. The delegations of the republics of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrghyzstan, Turkmenistan, Islamic republics of Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan took part in the meeting.
On September 29 bilateral meetings between delegations of some countries joining the meeting and the leadership of the State Customs Committee were held.
First of all the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, customs service Lieutenant-General Aydin Aliyev receiving the delegation headed by the Vice-minister of the Finance and Economy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President of the Customs Administration Mahammad Hashem Rahbari spoke about relations between the two neighbour states with pleasure and expressed his satisfaction about the present level of the mutual relations in the customs service sphere. The Chairman of the Committee speaking about the importance of the further expansion of the cooperation highly valued the participation of the Customs Service Head of Iran in held meeting.
The Vice-minister of the Finance and Economy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President of the Customs Administration Mahammad Hashem Rahbari expressing is gratitude to the SCC Chairman Aydin Aliyev for the warm reception and the high level organization of the 6th meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization Customs Service Heads Council in Baku spoke with satisfaction about existing relations between our countries. He emphasized the importance of strengthening of mutual activity of customs authorities of Azerbaijan and Iran.
On the same day the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, customs service Lieutenant-General Aydin Aliyev also received the delegation headed by the Deputy Director of the Customs Department of Afghanistan Mahammad Anvar Akbar.
The future perspectives for development of relations between our countries were discussed at the meeting. In the Economic Cooperation Organization frame the necessity of further intensification of relations was emphasized. The importance of the mutual activity, bilateral meetings, exchange of experience for deepening of the cooperation in the customs sphere.
The guest highly valued the present development strategy of the Azerbaijan Customs Service. He asked involvement of customs employees of his country in holding seminars, trainings in the Regional Training Centre in Baku from Azerbaijan side as well. Generally he spoke about a positive influence on development of Afghanistan customs of benefiting from the experience of the Azerbaijan customs system meeting requirements of international standards.
16.06.2007 Firmness of development on all spheres in customs system of Azerbaijan is ensured On June 8 the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, customs service Lieutenant-General Aydin Aliyev on the occasion of the completion of the diagnostic investigation received the group leader of the Colombus Programme World Customs Organization Capacity Building Alan Hall and the WCO expert Arja Kasnanen.
The Chairman of the State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev said that it was pleasure to meet the WCO experts again. On the occasion of the completion of the diagnostic investigation congratulated them.
16.06.2007 Relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuanian customs service are developing Relations in all spheres between Lithuania and Azerbaijan are developing. The successful cooperation trajectory of both countries comprehensively covers the customs sphere as well.
On June 11 the development dynamics of Azerbaijan and Lithuanian relations also was comprehensively discussed in the held meeting between the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, customs service Lieutenant-General Aydin Aliyev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to our country Kestutis Kudzmanas.
