Facilitated form of customs clearance


Customs clearance of different categories of transported commodities through Azerbaijan customs border can be carried out in the facilitated form and priority rule. Required commodities for abolition of results of natural disasters catastrophes, accidents, alive animals, fast spoiled commodities, radioactive substances, information for a media purpose, commodities sent to addresses to high legislation, executive and court power organs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other this kind commodities belong to this commodity categories.
The State Customs Committee determines case and terms of application of facilitated customs clearance regulations.
Let`s try to explain peculiarities of this kind customs clearance.
Priority of these commodities clearance means clearance of the same commodities after introduction to customs authorities.
A facilitated rule permits declaring of commodities by introducing a commodity accompanying, transport and other documents (if there is information about a carrier, persons sending and purchasing commodity, names origin, number and value of commodities).
If there are sufficient grounds for guessing of commodities transporting by other name, false documents, not reflecting necessary information of introduced documents they can demand additional documents reflecting insufficient information from a declarant. A facilitated form gives possibility to a declarant for economizing time.

Firmness of development on all spheres in customs system of Azerbaijan is ensured
On June 8 the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, customs service Lieutenant-General Aydin Aliyev on the occasion of the completion of the diagnostic investigation received the group leader of the Colombus Programme World Customs Organization Capacity Building Alan Hall and the WCO expert Arja Kasnanen. The Chairman of the State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev said that it was pleasure to meet the WCO experts again. On the occasion of the completion of the diagnostic investigation congratulated them.

Relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuanian customs service are developing
Relations in all spheres between Lithuania and Azerbaijan are developing. The successful cooperation trajectory of both countries comprehensively covers the customs sphere as well. On June 11 the development dynamics of Azerbaijan and Lithuanian relations also was comprehensively discussed in the held meeting between the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, customs service Lieutenant-General Aydin Aliyev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to our country Kestutis Kudzmanas.
